Dear Ferndale Residents & neighboring communities,
As some of you may know, when I was a child growing up in Ferndale my Dad was the Police Chief and Fire Chief for many years. Those years have shown me what a special community Ferndale is. I have been honored to be your Mayor for the past four years. There are many challenges to be faced in the years ahead of us. I feel ready to continue giving Ferndale the best of my abilities to meet these challenges and hope that you will honor me with your support for re-election.
As you look at this website I hope you will acknowledge and recognize my belief: “If you work for the City of Ferndale, you are expected to do a quality job, in whatever arena you are working in.”
The ability to manage a large staff is a key responsibility which comes with the position of Mayor. A person must have experienced many of life’s events to develop the skills to successfully manage a large staff such as the City of Ferndale has. There is also a need to recognize the experience and expertise of others and to allow them to join with you in realizing successful outcomes. I have been doing this and enjoying my duty as your mayor and I would be honored to continue serving you and our community."
