Gary was born and raised here in Ferndale, WA and graduated at Ferndale High School in 1973. Gary's entire family is rooted in Ferndale, everybody in his immeidate family grew up in Ferndale and graduated from Ferndale
High School. Gary is the owner of local plumbing company, Sullivan Plumbing. His wife, Kelly, is a kindergarten teacher at Central Elementary School in Ferndale. Gary grew up at City Hall...literally. His mom was a City Clerk for Ferndale and his dad served as both Ferndale's Chief of Police and also as the Fire Chief.
Gary has a passion for service. Whether that is serving a customer, serving an employee, or a citizen. He loves to serve those around him and volunteerism is very
dear to his heart. He loves that Ferndale is a unique combination of a flourishing, yet tight knit community.
Over his past term in office, Gary has over seen some major projects and beneficial undertakings the city has accomplished. He looks forward to possibly serving again for another term to continue his work and service to yours and his community that he loves so much.
